Vocabulary plays a vital role in the learning process. It is an element that connects all the four skills of speaking, listening, writing and reading together. The purposes of this study were 1) to develop an interactive e-book on English vocabulary learning for early primary education students; and 2) to study the students satisfaction towards the interactive e-book. The sample were 32 Prathomsuksa 3 students at Ban SaE Nai School, Amphoe Krongpinang, Yala Province, selected by purposive sampling method. The instruments used in this study were Learning Vocabulary, an interactive e-book, and a student satisfaction questionnaire. The data were analyzed statistically using mean (x ̅), percentage and standard deviation (S.D.). A quality check of the interactive e-book by experts found that the e-book was appropriate at the high value, averaging in value at 4.35. The lessons were appropriate at the highest value, 4.50. The students satisfaction towards the e-book was highly positive (x ̅= 4.27). Their satisfaction towards the songs used in the e-book was the highest (x ̅= 4.81). For early primary education students, the implementation of e-books as teaching material in English classroom may enhance vocabulary learning and create fun atmosphere in the classroom. |
