Background:
More than 85Percent of Thais use social media to search for information, including health and drugs, especially information about drugs. The wide variety of information available may lack credibility, leading to misunderstandings and inappropriate use of marijuana.
Purpose:
This research aims to examine the relationship between information seeking behavior and satisfaction with information about medical marijuana through online media of people in Songkhla Province.
Methodology:
The sample group consisted of 400 individuals who had searched for medical marijuana information through online media at least once within the past year. The sampling was conducted using stratified and convenience sampling methods. The instrument used was a 5-rating scale questionnaire, with an IOC from 0.67 to 1.00 and a reliability coefficient of 0.84. The statistical analyses included the mean, standard deviation, and Pearson’s correlation coefficient.
Finding:
The study found that the information seeking behavior and satisfaction with information about medical marijuana through online media of people in Songkhla Province was significantly correlated at the .001 level, with a moderate positive relationship (r = +0.57).

The study results show that people have increasingly engaged in information-seeking behavior through online media. This highlights the importance of selecting appropriate online media for providing information about medical marijuana.
