Abstract |
This research aims to develop the Service Management System of Dental Department by taking a case study of Muang Songkhla Hospital and assessing the system quality. This system facilitates the dental department staff at the hospital as well as provides faster services. The system was developed as a web application in which users are divided into 2 groups: staff and service recipient. The staff can manage user information, booking information, dentist information and report. The service recipient can book an appointment, browse the weekly/monthly calendar, request the number of available time slots, and find the booked queues. The software used for system development are Apache Cordova and phpMyAdmin. The programming languages used to develop system are CSS, HTML5, PHP and Java script. My SQL is used as database management system. The finding suggest that the developed system helps facilitate the users, reduces the operation time, as well as solves problems with mistakes, information redundancies, or redundant operation process. The user satisfaction on the application is measured and the overall satisfaction is revealed at 4.49 on average, which is at a good level, leading to a conclusion that the developed application functions effectively. |
