Abstract The objectives of this research were : 1) to develop the training packages on learning management for
developing students’ analytical thinking in multicultural society for teachers in five southern border provinces, 2) to
study the result of the using of the training packages on learning management for developing students’ analytical
thinking in multicultural society for teachers in five southern border, and 3) to compare the students’ analytical
thinking between before and after being taught for developing students’ analytical thinking. The main target groups
consisted of 45 teachers teaching in basic education in five southern border provinces and the minor target groups
consisted of students in the classes of the main target groups. The research tools comprised of 1) training
packages on learning management for developing students’ analytical thinking, 2) a teachers’ achievement test,
3) a teachers’ performance test, 4) a questionnaire of teachers’ satisfaction towards the training packages,
5) a focus group form for gathering teachers’ opinion and 6) students’ analytical thinking test. Analytical statistics
were mean, standard deviation and percentage.
Research found that:
1. Teachers desired to attend the training, Educators’ opinion showed that it was necessary to develop
teachers on learning for developing students’ analytical thinking, the literature and research found that training
affected teachers’ analytical thinking higher than before being trained and also affected students’ taught by the
trained teachers.
2. The training packages on learning management were totally appropriate at the highest value.
3. Teachers’ learning achievements after the training on learning management of developing students’
analytical thinking was higher than before being trained with the score improvement of 23.50%.
4. The trained teachers’ learning achievements was higher than untrained teachers with the different
score of 21.63%.
5. Teachers’ performance on learning management after the training was at an excellent level with score
at 80.64% and untrained teachers was at moderate level with score at 61.60%, the score was different at 19.04.
6. Teachers’ satisfaction towards using the training packages was at high level with average at 4.25.
7. Teachers’ opinion towards using the training packages was totally agreed that they obviously improved
their knowledge after the training and to develop student’s analytical thinking needed times and continuity.
8. The analytical thinking of all grades of students after being taught by the trained teachers was higher
than before, by grade 1 to grade 12 improved higher scores at the percentage of 30.67, 30.00, 27.27, 23.14,
36.24, 29.48, 38.63, 26.21, 28.38, 28.60, 29.43 and 25.83 respectively.

9. The analytical thinking of all grades of students after being taught by the untrained teachers was higher
than before, by grade 1 to grade 12 improved higher scores at the percentage of 11.73, 5.60, 8.80, 6.38, 12.19,
10.76, 13.54, 10.25, 15.25, 9.80, 14.03 and 11.43 respectively.
