In this paper, we introduce the concepts of almost subsemirings
and fuzzy almost subsemirings of semirings. These are extended from
almost subsemigroups and fuzzy almost subsemigroups of semigroups,respectively. Moreover, we demonstrate the basic properties of almost
subsemirings and their fuzzifications. Furthermore, we investigate the
relationships between almost subsemirings and their fuzzifications.
